About the package

TO-8 headers are commonly made with Kovar or CRS bases and pins, coated in nickel and gold. KIMT offers thermoelectric sub-assemblies on TO-8 headers, providing options for 6, 12 or 16 pins. These pins come in standard cylindrical, flattened or nailhead forms to simplify wire bonding.

The 8.0×8.0 mm mounting surface is sufficient for many thermoelectric cooler (TEC) types. KIMT supplies various solutions with both single-stage and multi-stage TEC options.
