ISO Certification
KIMT’s quality management system and processes are aligned to the requirements of ISO 9001, and we choose suppliers with quality management systems of equal rigor.
We inform our partners and customers that KIMT is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
RoHS Compliance
The European Union Directive 2011/65/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS 2.0) legislation restricts the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
This directive applies to all electrical and electronic products and their components currently placed on the European market except for stated exemption categories. On June 4, 2015, the EU Commission published new Directive (EU) 2015/863 which adds 4 phthalate substances to the list of 6 already in RoHS 2.0. These phthalates are restricted from use starting July 22, 2019 from most EEE.
All thermoelectric production produced by KIMT complies with the RoHS requirements declared in www.rohsguide.com.

RoHS compliance of thermoelectric coolers manufactured by KIMT is confirmed by the results given in SGS test report. We will continue to monitor the developments of the RoHS legislation and actively require each supplier to ensure that our products comply with RoHS specifications. SGS test report of KIMT TECs you can find here.

Conflict Minerals
KIMT shares global concerns about human rights violations associated with the illegal mining and trade of Conflict Minerals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries.
As part of the KIMT’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, the Company’s goal is to use Conflict Minerals that do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries (hereinafter the «DRC»).
Conflict Minerals are defined as gold and tin are used in manufacturing thermoelectric devices as the KIMT’s products.
KIMT makes every effort to ensure that only «non-conflict» materials and components are used in its products.
